In his current works, Albert Hien combines motifs from his sculptures of the 1980s and 1990s (geography, ocean liner, world map, travel) with elements of classic neon technology. MOVIMENTI deals with movement, displacement, changes in balance, acceleration, and arrest.
In MOVIMENTI, Hien uses neon tubes to create dynamic, luminous structures that embody his themes of travel and geographical change. His precise work with the medium of neon brings a new dimension to the representation of movement and transformation.
