Bologna Fair. This year, the gallery presents a dialogue between the works of five artists from the Italian and European scene of the second half of the 20th century and of the contemporary era. Among them are Carla Accardi (1924–2014), Giuseppe Capogrossi (1900–1972), and Giorgio Griffa (1936), whose pictorial research played a fundamental role in the development of sign-based, gestural, and analytical art in the late twentieth century, influencing the entire international landscape. They are joined by French painter Claude Viallat (1936), who, through his deconstruction of pictorial canons, contributed to renewing the artistic scene of the 1970s, and German sculptor Jürgen Knubben (1955), renowned for his steel and bronze sculptures characterized by geometric forms.
